Welcome to Lincoln, a city of recreational parks and rich history, a city in transition, a city on the move! Lincoln is Alabamaís 95th largest city and the third largest in Talladega County. Our population has grown 36.90% since 2000. We are an innovative and dynamic municipality striving to improve the quality of life for all our citizens. We provide our residents and visitors a broad range of activities including Hometown Farmerís Market, Blue Eye Creek Fishing Trail, Showdown in OldTown Car Show and TOP Trails OHV Outdoor Recreation Park. We cap the year with our Annual Christmas Parade and Blue Eye Creek Christmas tree lighting event and parade in OldTown Lincoln.
Our Lincolnís Sports Complex Park enjoys state and national recognition with four State Championship Baseball Tournaments under our belt. Our city boasts one of the highest square-footage of park space per resident in the state. The Lincoln Sports Complex provides seven tournament-level fields for baseball and softball, soccer fields.
Sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do here. The archery range, opened in 2012, sports known distance targets as well as the unknown distance target trail challenges even the most talented archer. For the off-road vehicle enthusiast, our 2800 acre Top Trail OHV Park boasts over 80 miles of trails for all skill levels. For more meditative activities, I highly recommend a visit to Blue Eye Creek Fishing Trails. Eat lunch under the creek-side pavilion, meander along the creek on the walking trail or wet your hook from one of the five handicap-accessible fishing piers. Local lore holds that "if one dips their toe in Blue Eye Creek, they will always return to its shores."
For those that love the water, Logan Martin Lake borders our western city limit providing over 30 miles of recreational shoreline within the city limits. Whether fishing, skiing or just hanging out on the water, we have a beautiful lake for you to enjoy. Many bass fishing tournaments are held during the year. We even host a few of the regional pro tournaments.
As Lincoln maneuvers into the 21st Century, this former agricultural town is moving ahead with a transformation to a modern American city that is home to Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, a division of American Honda Motor Co with worldwide holdings. Our other major employers include New South Express, Legacy Cabinet, CKC Systems, Inc., ATAP, and other Honda support companies. Our restaurants and nightlife provides a strong entertainment and cultural base for our community.
Welcome to Lincoln!
