The Lincoln Police Department is an established, full-service, community-oriented municipal law enforcement agency. We are committed to serving our community and visitors by providing and ensuring a safe environment in our city. A driving force behind our department is the philosophy that we can only grow stronger as a community. We must all work together to face and overcome the problems that arise in our city and to that end we encourage community involvement with community based programs to deter crime as well as promote public safety awareness in our neighborhoods.

With a staff of nineteen sworn officers including the Chief of Police, our department has officers specializing in uniformed patrol as well as criminal investigations. We also work closely with the Talladega County Drug Task Force. All officers are required to maintain a high level of continuing education credits annually to keep them prepared for what they may face out in the field. We also offer animal control services.
