Thank you for visiting our web site. Lincoln is a unique city. Located just forty miles out from Birmingham and one hundred ten miles from Atlanta on Interstate 20. The city borders the Talladega Superspeedway on the southeast and Logan Martin Lake on the west. The location has proven ideal for both commerce and family living. New industry locating here during the past several years includes CanTech, Inc., USA Concrete, Nordson Corporation, Legacy Cabinets, and Talladega Engineering. New business openings include Internet Port, Holiday Inn Express, Day's Inn, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Subway, and Taco Bell . Growth in the area has increased dramatically since 1960. Residential growth on the lake has been very noticeable during the past ten years. The last census listed Lincoln as the 100th largest city in the state, out of a total of 430 cities in Alabama. The city operates it own water system, waste water system, cable television system, senior citizen center, library, police and fire/rescue departments.

The city has under construction its second fire station. Also, under construction is a new waste water treatment plant and more water lines. The city industrial park has sites available for business or industry from one to one hundred acres on Speedway Boulevard near Interstate 20.
