History of Lincoln
Lincoln has an interesting history. The City of Lincoln's history begins with the local Indians who settled here well before the Spaniards, under the direction of Hernando De Soto, came looking for gold in our area. The area in and around Lincoln was settled by what the white men called Creek Indians. Read more about it here.

Regional Attractions
There are several attractions nearby. Perhaps the most widely known is the Talladega Superspeedway which is less than two miles from the City of Lincoln making us the closest city to the track.
