Planning and Zoning Board

The Planning and Zoning Board handles rezoning request and subdivision approvals. The Board strongly relies on the expertise of the Regional Planning and Development Commission. The Board meets monthly except in December unless there are important agenda items to consider. Subdivision approvals typically take less than two months for approval unless there are zoning changes to be made. Zoning changes typically take two months as there are two 15 day advertising periods involved.
