The city received a streetscape grant to improve the appearance of the old town area. The project consist of landscaping, lighting, paving and sidewalks. The project should result in an attractive downtown area. The project is presently under construction. Adjacent to the project is Blue Eye Creek. A fishing trail is planned for the creek.
